What is bungee fitness?
Bungee Fitness is an innovative and dynamic Bungee fitness workout that combines traditional fitness with the thrill of aerial movement. Utilising specialized bungee fitness cords, participants experience a low-impact exercise routine that enhances strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. This unique bungee fitness system allows for a wide range of movements, from jumping and swinging to suspended yoga poses, making it suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Bungee Fitness class offers an exhilarating way to break free from conventional workouts, encouraging fun and creativity while promoting overall well-being. Perfect for those seeking an engaging and effective fitness experience, Bungee Fitness is rapidly gaining popularity in studios worldwide.
What is the weight limit?
At Bungee Fit Australia, safety is our top priority. Our bungee fitness equipment is designed to accommodate participants of various sizes and abilities. The weight limit for our bungee fitness classes is 250 kg. This ensures that everyone can safely enjoy the unique and exhilarating experience of bungee fitness. If you have any concerns or specific needs, please feel free to contact us for more information.
Who shouldn’t try Bungee Fit?
Bungee Fit is definitely not for you at the moment if you are pregnant or recovering from surgery of any kind. It is also advisable to avoid if you suffer from glaucoma, very high or low blood pressure or have suffered a recent stroke.
Students with osteoporosis, a hernia, carpal tunnel syndrome, severe vertigo or any other medical condition are encouraged to consult with their doctor first.
Do my feet stay on the ground?
Yes, if you prefer a gentle and slower-paced class, you can keep your feet on the ground. The bungee cords will support you and help mitigate fall risks, providing a safe and enjoyable workout experience. This option is perfect for those looking for a more relaxed introduction to bungee fitness. If you have any specific preferences or concerns, please let us know!
Why do I need to take a fundamentals first?
The prerequisite Fundamentals ensures all students are familiar with the necessary safety protocols and foundational moves before joining in other lessons. This is for the safety and consideration of everyone coming to class.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age is 5+
Do I need to be fit or flexible?
Absolutely not. The beauty of Bungee Fit is anybody can start today, right where they are at. It wouldn’t make much sense to hold off until you were already ‘fit/flexible’ to begin, would it?
What should I wear?
For your bungee fitness class at Bungee Fit Australia, we recommend wearing fitted, moisture-wicking athletic clothing. This type of clothing allows you to move freely and helps keep you cool during your workout.
A fitted T-shirt is ideal, as loose clothing can get tangled in the bungee cords. Comfortable leggings or athletic shorts that allow for a full range of motion are recommended. Athletic shoes with good support, such as sneakers, are ideal. Additionally, a sports bra can provide added support and comfort.
Remember to avoid any clothing with too much loose fabric to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. If you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to contact us!
What should I bring?
Bring along a gym towel, a drink bottle and a willing attitude.
Why do I need to remove jewellery/zippers?
These items are not safe in a class environment. Rings, watches, earrings, etc can all become snagged on yourself, another student or the silk fabric. This can potentially damage people, equipment and your precious valuables.
Is it safe?
At Bungee Fit Australia, safety is our top priority. Our bungee fitness classes are designed with rigorous safety standards to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants. We use high-quality, custom-designed bungee cords, rigging and roofing systems that are regularly inspected and maintained.
